Exhibitor Set-Up at KCC Park and the Bulla Exhibition Centre
Complaints continue to be received from affiliates and exhibitors regarding crowded access to the rings, blocked walkways and sufficient space to set up at KCC Park and the Bulla Exhibition Centre.
Members are reminded that:
All marquees are to be set up with the narrow side to the ring to minimize large set-ups to the exclusion of many other exhibitors
No-one is permitted to set-up prior to the day of the show, and in the event of it being a double show, prior to the day of the first show
The following arrangements now also apply:
Saving space for other exhibitors prior to the commencement of shows is discouraged and any saved must be claimed by the time that judging commences
No ropes or other form of marking out is permitted under any circumstances due to safety issues
These new arrangements have been introduced because of recent accidents arising from ropes laid out on the ground, and from the frustration from members who arrive at an early hour to find large areas reserved for a few people awaiting later arrivals.These requirements have been brought in, in the best interests of all members, to make attendance at shows a safe and enjoyable day.
