Upcoming Events

Dog Day at the Vineyard

Sunday, 3 October 2010 - 10:30am

Meet at the cellar door at Tuck's Ridge Vineyard (37 Shoreham Road, Red Hill South) for a morning wine tasting and dog walk. The vineyard has a wonderful off-lead area where the dogs can run, play and even swim!

If you'd like to stay for lunch at the cafe, be sure to book a table. You can ring the cafe directly on 5989 8660. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor patio area of the cafe, or bring along a stake to tie your dog in the garden while you eat.

Please RSVP for the wine tasting by Tuesday, 28 September. Contact Karen on 9788 2509 or send an email.

Doggy Pub Night

Monday, 11 October 2010

Enjoy a drink or dinner with your best mate at the Flying Duck Hotel (67 Bendigo Street, Prahran). The pub will open it's beer gardens for our four-legged friends.

Please RSVP directly to the Flying Duck on 9510 1173. You can make dinner reservations, or just let them know you are stopping by for a drink with your dog so they can be sure to have plenty of pint glasses and water bowls on hand.

Afternoon Tea at Caldermeade Farm

Sunday, 21 November 2010 - 3:00pm

Meet at Caldermeade Farm (4385 South Gippsland Highway, Caldermeade) for an afternoon tea complete with homemade scones, jam and fresh cream. Or, for something a bit cooler, a fresh milkshake!

We will be in the outdoor table area where dogs are most welcome. There is also a large area where the dogs can run, play and meet some livestock (through the fence, of course).

Please RSVP by Wednesday, 17 November. Contact Karen on 9788 2509 or send an email.

BIG DAY OUT FOR DOGS

Sunday, 12 December 2010 - 10:30am-4:00pm

Want to host the next Companion event?

All Companion Dog Club members are invited to organise a walk at a dog-friendly park, beach, cafe or other area.

Email us to tell us about your favourite dog-friendly park and when you would like to host and we will add it to this calendar.

The Alaskan Malamute Club of Victoria holds events throughout the year to which any type of dog is invited. These events include weight pulling, sledding and backpacking. The Activity Days are an introduction into all of their activities.

The club has many activities on each month, so please Click here for the Schedule of Events. (PDF)
