FRANKSTON CITY COUNCIL OFFERING DOG-FRIENDLY BEACH ACCESS
The beach from north of Mile Bridge to Keast Park, Seaford has been selected as the location for a new trial which allows dog owners to take their pets to the beach for extended hours over summer, provided they are restrained on a lead.
Previously, dogs were prohibited from all Frankston City beaches between 9:30am to 7:30pm from 1 December and 31 March. But under the trial approved by Council on 14 December, dogs will be permitted on the designated beach up until 11:00am and after 5:00pm.

How do I get involved in the Companion Dog Club?
There are two ways to join in the fun!
1. Companion Dog Club membership only. This membership is $25 per year and includes your family and all dogs.
2. Join as a Companion member of DOGS Victoria. This membership is $30 per year and includes transfer of a Limited Register dog - speak to your breeder when purchasing a puppy.
Both options allow you to participate in Companion Dog Club social events. In fact, all members of DOGS Victoria are welcome to attend CDC events!
What is Companion Dog Club?
The club provides pedigree and non-pedigree dogs and their owners with a club that will promote and appreciate the uniqueness of all types and breeds of dogs. It also recognizes that each one of our canine friends is in a class of its own and a companion in its own right.
As a member of the Companion Dog Club you and your dog will receive a number of benefits that encourage responsible dog ownership and welfare from within your own community.

DOGS Victoria is the peak body of pure bred dog owners with many years of experience in the world of dogs. Cross breeds have been a part of DOGS Victoria's registration system for many years, catering for dogs who wish to take part in Agility, Obedience and Working Trials. Through its Charitable Trust, DOGS Victoria aims to help develop the many disciplines enjoyed by your canine companions.
